If traveling via MassPike:

Be immersed in a fully functioning rural New England town like it was in the 1830s by visiting  Old Sturbridge Village. 

Grab a warm beverage or a bite to eat at Haymarket Cafe in downtown Northampton.

Meander through boutiques nestled in Thornes Marketplace.

Feeling quintessentially New England? Stop by Yankee Candle's flagship location where you can dip your own candles. 

 

If traveling via Route 2:

Experience the connection with nature that inspired Henry David Thoreau's Walden, by visiting Walden Pond.

Need a new book to enjoy at Sētu, pick one out at the Montague Bookmill

Enjoy the scenery and a coffee by visiting the Lady Killigrew, located on the banks of the Sawmill River.

Begin your relaxing trip with a visit the New England Peace Pagoda.
