Emily and Harmeet are lovely people, very warm and welcoming. The accommodations are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The outdoor setting is beautiful and peaceful. The bed, bedding, and towels were luxurious. The cooking class was fun and informative, and the meal we produced was delicious. The combination of evening gong meditation, hot tub, and a massage followed the next morning with ashtanga yoga, a delectable Indian breakfast and another dip in the hot tub was sublime. Though I was there for less than 24 hours I felt like I’d been on an entire weekend retreat.
I left feeling nourished and energized from my time at the B and B (also from their delicious home cooked meals) and cannot wait to return!
This place is a dream. Visiting from NYC, it was everything I needed — calm, clean, thought provoking, and beautiful. It’s a thoughtfully designed space — in particular, the shala is an inspiring room that overlooks the woods, a pond, and rolling hills.
The hot tub was wonderful by day, and even more so under the starlit sky at night. We did a cooking class and really enjoyed learning about Indian cooking while preparing a meal with Emily (it was delicious too). The gong meditation is an other-worldly experience that is truly special.
Everything at this inn makes you feel at home.
