Things To Know Before Your Stay

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES:

Check-in time is 4PM to 6 PM. Check-out time is 11 AM. We discourage late check-in. If you have an extenuating circumstance that prevents you from arriving during the check-in window, we have a 1-hour grace period (until 7pm) at additional fee. This must be requested prior to your stay. As a retreat center, we cannot accommodate check-ins later than 7pm. With this in mind, please plan your travel ahead, as traffic coming from major cities can be a barrier to on-time check-in.

DEPOSITS

For retreats, we ask that you pay 1/2 the total amount at time of registration and can be made with Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.

Personal checks: Full payment must be received prior to processing your registration. There is a $20 charge for checks returned due to insufficient funds.

Accommodation CANCELATIONS and CHANGES

Please email or call us to cancel your reservation and we will refund your payment minus a 3% cancellation fee, as long as you cancel 7 days before your arrival. If you cancel between 48 hours-7 days before arrival,  we will provide you a credit to use at a later time.  No credit or refund is available if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, or during your arrival window (4-6pm), if you do not show up, or if you leave a program or event early.

WORKSHOP OR CLASS REFUNDS

Call or email us at least 7 days prior to your workshop date for a refund of your payment. If you call or email less than 7 days, we will be pleased to use your deposit to confirm another workshop for you (of at least the same cost) within 1-year of the refunded event.

TAX

Includes Vermont Rooms & Meals tax of 9% plus a Local Option Tax 1%.

CHILDREN

We require all guests with children to please book via phone, so we can assure the proper arrangements are made to accommodate your stay. We are unable to accommodate children under 12 years of age. 

PETS

No pets are allowed. Please call for help in making arrangements to board your pet.

ALCOHOL

We are a dry property. There is No Drinking on the Premises. 

SMOKING & VAPING

All our rooms are non-smoking, as is the retreat center itself, including all areas around the house. Also no candles or incense please. We can direct you to outdoor locations where you may smoke. If you smoke in your room there will be a $250 cleaning charge. 

WEAPONS

For the safety of our guests, we do not allow weapons of any kind on site.

GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES

Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver's license. Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.

COMMUNICATION

We have a common phone available for calling and leaving voicemails. You are welcome to give our phone number as a contact point. Cellphone coverage inside is not reliable. Wi-Fi calling is available. We offer complimentary WiFi throughout the lodge. 

MINIMUM STAY

A two-night minimum stay is required for booking on-line.
